CHML 468 - Plasmid Design and Production
Study of advanced experimental skills for constructing, producing, and purifying plasmids used in the synthesis of biological macromolecules. Students will learn to design plasmids for the expression of recombinant proteins, in-vitro transcription of mRNAs, and the production of viral vectors. Course topics include DNA cloning techniques and plasmid production methods.
Credit Hours: 1
Prerequisite Courses: CHM 365 and CHML 365 Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
