JPN 311 - Perspectives on Contemporary Japanese Culture Social, economic, and political issues in contemporary Japanese culture explored through a variety of sources with particular emphasis on comparing and contrasting Japanese and international perspectives on trends and issues of global significance including national identity, the family unit, rights and responsibilities of individuals, and sustainability. Course taught in English.
