HST 107  -  Warfare in World History

Survey of war as a transformational force in world history from the ancient Mediterranean to the modern, globalized world. Includes how technology, politics, environment, climate, geography, and economics have impacted war. Examines how societies have waged war, responded to war, and been influenced by war.
