Introduction to nuclear weapons policy and strategy with an emphasis on nonproliferation, nuclear security, and nuclear deterrence. Consideration of nuclear weapons technology, why countries seek nuclear weapons, risks to international security, and policy tools deployed to prevent proliferation or use.
