MIS 330  -  Data Storage and Management


Design, construction, and management of hybrid storage. Topics include storage of documents, key-value pairs, objects, files, tables and caches, data and storage area networks. Techniques to be covered include replication, compression, authentication, authorization, load balancing, and data management. The course includes hands-on experience with modern, enterprise-level storage products.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: MIS 327
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Admission to Cameron School of Business or declared BS Information Technology major.
