NSG 398  -  Health Policy


This course focuses on social, psychological, economic, political, legal, ethical, and diverse environments which shape health care delivery systems. Nursing practice is studied relative to inter-professional collaboration, advocacy, and leadership. Emphasis is placed on critical analyses related to health policy, health care reform, health care systems, and social determinants of health.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: NSG 316 with a C or better.
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Open only to students in the RNBSN program.
