GGY 432  -  Biogeography


Study of the changing distribution patterns of plants and animals on a variety of spatial and temporal scales. Topics include abiotic and biotic controls on the distribution of life, disturbance, ecological communities, dispersal, invasion, speciation, extinctions, biogeographic realms, human impacts on biodiversity, and conservation.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: GGY 130  or GLY 101  
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Prerequisite course or consent of instructor.
