CSC 131 - Introduction to Computer Science Problem solving methods and algorithms in a modern high-level programming language. Introduces one or more programming environments. Emphasis on a programming style and the design, coding, and testing of complete programs. Recommended primarily for computer science majors.
Credit Hours: 4
Prerequisite Courses: MAT 112 or MAT 150 or MAT 160 . University Studies: Common Requirements/Critical Reasoning, Foundations/Mathematics and Statistics Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. You must achieve a ‘C’ (2.00) or better if you intend to use this course as a prerequisite for another course.
