REC 303  -  Recreation for Everyone


This course explores the various social and cultural factors that shape the management and operation of recreation, sport, and tourism organizations. Students will examine topics such as social identities, bias, common terminology, and the dynamics of power and influence within organizations and communities. Through discussions and case studies, the course will encourage students to develop a broader perspective on workplace and community interactions while enhancing their ability to work effectively with all individuals.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: REC 265 and REC 270.
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: REC majors and minors only or permission of instructor.
