PSY 317  -  Applied Behavior Analysis: Challenging Behavior


Extension of the principles of learning and behavior analysis to socially significant human issues, focusing on the assessment and treatment of behavior in need of reduction and related ethical considerations. Topics include preference and reinforcer assessment, functional assessments, and function-based interventions. Areas of application include education, developmental and intellectual disabilities, health, and caregiver training.
