PAR 305 - Black Religions Along the Cape Fear
Survey of Black religions in and around the Cape Fear region from the 1800s to today. Explores how Black Americans have practiced Christianity, Islam, Conjure, Gullah-Geechee culture, and other traditions using images, objects, texts, memories, and stories to enact individual, communal, religious and political autonomy.
