ENG 202  -  Introduction to Journalism

Introduction to news values, style, and writing. Focus is on writing news leads and news stories under deadline pressure. Also included: note taking, interviewing, and an introduction to feature writing.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: ENG 103  or ENG 200  or ENG 201  
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Prerequisite courses or consent of instructor.
University Studies: Building Competencies/Writing Intensive, Building Competencies/Information Literacy, Explorations Beyond the Classroom
