EDN 405 - Theory and Practice in Teaching Secondary Social Studies (9-12)

Emphasis on theory, curriculum development, inquiry, critical thinking, classroom management, instructional strategies and selection of appropriate instructional materials. Successful planning and teaching practices with adaptations to diverse needs of students will be discussed. Field experiences required (10-20 contact hours). The lab for this course is EDNL 405.
