NSG 321 - Gerontological Nursing and the End of Life Care


This course covers optimum health care for the aging client using the demographic, physiological, psychosocial and economic aspects of aging. Emphasis is placed on understanding the unique needs of the aging population, and to provide evidence-based care using interprofessional collaboration to improve care transitions, and health outcomes for older adults that promotes quality of life.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite or Corequisite Courses: NSG 316 .
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Open only to students in the RNBSN program.
Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
