PBH 359 - Research Methods in Public Health Designed to familiarize students with the fundamental principles, underlying research, and evaluative methods in public health. Focus will be on types of research design, sampling methodologies, statistical analysis, interpretation of results, scholarly writing, and critical evaluation of research conclusions.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite Courses: PBH 299 with a minimum grade of “C-“. Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Minimum passing grade of “C-” or above required in each PBH course to progress in the program. Open to PBH majors only. University Studies: Building Competencies/Writing Intensive; Information Literacy Crosslisting: HEA 359 . Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
