EDN 467 - Non-Licensure Practicum Must receive program approval to enroll. A supervised practicum experience working with children and/or their families in a school or community setting. Designed for students who are completing a degree in education without earning licensure, this practicum promotes integration of the knowledge, skills, and dispositions required to be an effective educator. The practicum placement is selected to be consistent with the student’s career goals. Placement and field hours must be approved by the instructor. This course does not fulfill the requirements for North Carolina teacher licensure.
Credit Hours: 6 to 12
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Admission to Watson College of Education and consent of instructor. Must receive full program approval to enroll. Not guaranteed. Does not result in licensure (licensure test requirement waived for elementary majors).
