CRW 520 - The Publishing Process Course Description: Introduction to the culture and commerce of publishing, with an emphasis on contemporary literary magazines and presses. Examination of people and processes involved, the book life cycle, and industry economics and ethics. Engagement in a variety of publishing activities, such as developing submissions strategies, and writing and evaluating queries and proposals.
