EVS 584 - Agriculture and the Environment Course Description: Interdisciplinary exploration of the impacts of crop and animal agriculture on terrestrial, aquatic, and marine environments. Topics include land conversion, sediment transport, nutrient runoff, concentrated feeding operations, and impacts on natural habitats. Emphasis on building student communication skills and competency in critical analysis of current environmental issues.
