EVS 521 - Literature of the Environment Course Description: Introduction to the pivotal and influential writings that lay the foundation of the environmental sciences, collectively representing the literature of the environment. Examination of historical and political contexts of the writings, as well as perceptions of the environment, from philosophical, scientific and poetic perspectives.
