HCA 502 - Managing Human Capital in Healthcare Course Description: Strategically leveraging human capital resources in an effort to provide efficient and effective value based services to patients and stakeholders (centered on cost, access, and quality of care) is at the core of effective human resource management. Students in this course will explore human resource management theory and practice in the context of the healthcare organization through an in-depth analysis of modern human resource management issues (i.e., recruitment, compensation, motivation, performance, and talent management).
