HCA 500 - Introduction to Healthcare Management Course Description: This foundational course explores the principles of management in the context of contemporary healthcare, exploring the dynamic healthcare environment and challenges of change. Focusing on leadership and management principles, this course will explore topics that include organizational behavior, corporate compliance, cultural competency and diversity, revenue cycle considerations, healthcare reform legislation, and critical management processes. This course serves as a pre- and/or co-requisite to all other courses in the MHA program.
