EDL 675 - Curriculum and Critical Consciousness Course Description: In this course, students will engage in developing dialectical conceptions of curriculum and critical consciousness as a means to challenge and disrupt traditional discourses of curriculum. A study of historical, moral, and cultural foundations of curriculum, as well as key sociological concepts and theories, will promote analysis, critique, and understanding of the relationship between curriculum, self, and society.
