EDN 569 - Budget and Finance for Early Childhood Programs Course Description: This course will cover the development and management of program budgets, resource identification and resource development for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Budget forecasting, strategic planning, and capital development will be covered. Students will learn how to identify and write grants for additional funding, how to manage charitable donations, and establish fiscal responsibility processes for the organization. Students will design tools to evaluate programs for funding, expansion, or termination.
