GRN 522 - Family Health and Aging Course Description: Study of family systems theory, paradigms for caregiving (spatial, temporal, and transactional axes), altruism versus distributive justice, illness and life-stage challenges for caregiving, and the interface between formal caregivers and caregiving families. Students review case studies with regard to geriatric care management and community health education.
