NSG 500 - Theory and Research for Evidence-Based Practice

Course Description: This online seminar course focuses on the linkages between theory, research, and practice. Emphasis is on the recognition and valuing of theory application and advanced principles and methods of research as a central characteristic of advanced nursing practice. Learning focus is directed toward the critical appraisal of scholarly literature as the basis for decision making in advanced practiced nursing.
