GRN 524 - Cultural Representations of Aging Course Description: This course includes the study of various representations of aging, including fine art, films, novels, poetry, and more. We will compare and contrast such creative representations of aging with scientific (e.g., scholarly literature) ways of knowing about aging. Through engaging bio-psycho-social-humanities frameworks to explore aging-related phenomena, students will develop a well-rounded understanding of a variety of topics.
