ENG 510 - Theory and Practice of Cultural Studies Course Description: In various forms, this course will introduce graduate students to the history, theory, vocabulary, and critical strategies commonly employed in cultural studies. While critical and topical emphasis may vary from section to section, this course will present students with the notion of culture in broad social, aesthetic, ethical, and political contexts so as to prepare them for more advanced research in cultural studies.
