EDN 551 - Advocacy Research Project I Course Description: Examine the cognitive, linguistic, motivational, attitudinal, and socio-cultural aspects of literacy processes and the influences of families and teachers’ dispositions on K-12 children’s literacy learning. Individuals’ personal literacy processes and experiences are explored and analyzed in order to develop teachers’ theoretical and pedagogical understandings of literacy.
