EDN 544 - Global Scientific Literacy in Elementary Science Education

Course Description: This course explores authentic research in science education with an emphasis on global scientific literacy in the elementary school curriculum. Students will learn how to scaffold science concepts using a global perspective to include the interdependence of earth’s natural systems. Inquiry, STEAM education, and nature of science will be addressed.
