EDN 541 - The Role of Literature in Learning and the Curriculum Course Description: Familiarize teachers with the wealth of children and adolescent literature available to students in preschool through high school. Theories and research-based strategies for using literature to inform and support diverse students’ language and literacy development are introduced and demonstrated through the extensive study of each genre.
