EDN 532 - Comparative Studies in Early Childhood Education Course Description: Designed to provide information for comparing and contrasting preschools from an international perspective, this course will include an in–depth cross–cultural survey of early childhood education in selected countries. The history of philosophical thoughts, the political and socio–economic changes and research efforts from these selected countries of interest to American early childhood educators will be studied and discussed.
