CHM 574 - Aquatic Chemistry Course Description: The chemistry of aqueous solutions, including use of activity coefficients, acid-base and buffer concepts, gas solubility, results of carbon dioxide dissolution, trace metal speciation, oxidation-reduction processes, photochemistry and mineral solubility. Concepts will be applied to laboratory solutions and natural waters.
