PSY 518 - Applied Behavior Analysis: Assessment and Intervention 1 Course Description: An examination of methodological, empirical, and conceptual isseus involved in the extension of behavior-analytic principles to applied settings, with a focus on assessment and treatment of problem behavior. Topics include preference and reinforcer assessments, functional behavioral assessments, and function-based treatments. Subspecialities such as contingency management safety skills training, habit reversal, and behavioral approaches to health and fitness are also covered.
