NSG 584 - Test and Rubric Construction Course Description: This course provides the essential elements of test construction and rubric development. The student will explore relevant teaching, learning and evaluation models from the perspectives of education and nursing. The student will practice evaluation principles by reviewing test planning, test item construction and test evaluation. Rubric development for the purpose of evaluating written and oral assignments will be analyzed and practiced. Through these activities, students will develop a beginning competence in evaluating student learning.
