GLS 554 - Poetry Writing: Applied Learning Workshop

Course Description: This course will explore craft elements and genres of poetry. Students will read poetry craft essays, research poetry genres and present their research to the class, write poems, and participate in peer workshops. Evaluation will be based on completion of presentations/guided discussions, peer feedback, and participation in workshops. No poetry writing experience necessary.
