LIC 540 - Advanced Language and Literacy I, K-6 Course Description: Focus on the curriculum, assessment, and instructional methods for teaching language arts at the elementary grades. Course topics may include linguistics and psychological bases of the reading process, stages in the development of reading ability, and sequences of skill acquisition. Field experience required.
