SWK 530 - Social Work in the Health Care Setting Course Description: Examination of critical issues in social work practice in health care. Advanced practice skills and strategies for work with individuals, families, groups, interdisciplinary teams, and service providers in a variety of health care settings. Social work practice examined in the context of psychosocial consequences of illness, current health care delivery systems, technological advances, and changing regulatory approaches and organizational structures.
