NSG 583 - Migrant and Farm Worker Health Course Description: An examination of health problems prevalent across the life span among Hispanic migrant workers and their families. Focus on cultural values and belief systems that influence health behaviors. Analysis of social, economic, legal and political forces that influence access to and use of health care services. Attention to cultural sensitivity requisite for effective intercultural communication between health care workers and Hispanic migrant workers and their families.
