MAT 557 - Differential Geometry

Course Description: Theory of curves and surfaces in Euclidean space. Frenet formulas, curvature and torsion, arc length; first and second fundamental forms. Gaussian curvature, equations of Gauss and Codazzi, differential forms, Cartan’s equations; global theorems.
