LIC 535 - Advanced Social Studies Methods, 6-9 Course Description: Examines how the social studies curriculum can be organized to meet the learning needs of middle grades students. Emphasis on selection and preparation of appropriate materials, identification of instructional procedures, data-based decision making and the relevance of social inquiry to the real world. Field experience required.
