GLS 568 - Black Intellectual Tradition


Course Description: An interdisciplinary study of the black intellectual tradition in the humanities, social sciences, and the fine arts that spans nearly two hundred years, two continents, and most of the academic disciplines with special emphases upon African intellectual heritage, African philosophical thought forms, Afro-American philosophy of religion, black education, the black social conscience, and Blacks in literature.
