EDN 439 - Field Studies in the Middle Grades (6-9) Students will learn about and apply ideas about thematic instruction, teamwork, assessment, classroom management, legal and ethical issues, and parent/family/community involvement in middle level education. This course provides opportunities to extend understandings of the middle grades teacher as a professional in those areas. The course includes extensive field experiences.
Credit Hours: 3
Corequisite Courses: Corequisite with at least one of the following: EDN 323 , EDN 335 , EDN 338 , EDN 355 . Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Open only to Middle Grades Education majors. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
