Progress Toward Graduation in Four Years
To graduate in four years, a student must successfully complete all graduation requirements and an average annual course load of 30 semester hours. This course load requires the student to take approximately 15-16 hours per semester or earn hours through summer enrollment. Among the factors responsible for extending the time necessary to complete degree requirements beyond four years are a student’s late decision to change majors, requiring additional course work; part-time employment while enrolled; family responsibilities; and unilateral decisions to take fewer than the recommended average of 15.5 hours per semester.
