The university holds membership in the National Collegiate Athletic Association and the Coastal Athletic Association. Varsity intercollegiate teams are fielded for men in basketball, cross country, baseball, golf, soccer, tennis, swimming and diving, and outdoor track and field. Varsity intercollegiate teams for women are fielded in basketball, cross country, softball, golf, soccer, tennis, swimming and diving, volleyball, beach volleyball and indoor/outdoor track and field.
