Requirements for a Minor in Sustainability
- A minor in sustainability requires a total of 23 credit hours with a minimum overall quality point average of “C” (2.00) in courses counted.
- Students may select any EVS numbered courses not used in the core requirements as an elective. A minimum of 9 hours must be at the 300-400 level.
- A maximum of 12 credit hours counted toward a student’s major will be counted toward completion of the core and/or elective minor requirements in sustainability.
- Students selecting the minor are strongly encouraged to meet with an environmental studies advisor to determine a specific course of study.
Applied Service Learning
Minimum of one hour required. 12 hours from the following (9 hours at the 300-400 level):
Economic Domain
Minimum of three hours required. Social Domain
Minimum of three hours required. Environmental Domain
Minimum of three hours required. One course from the following:
