Studio Art Minor

Studio Art Minor introduces students to Studio Art practice with a foundational understanding of art-making and an opportunity to further explore an area of interest.

Requirements for a Minor in Studio Art:

ART 101 - Two-Dimensional Design
ART 102 - Three Dimensional Design
ART 111 - Drawing Fundamentals
15 hours of 200-400 level studio art courses chosen from at least two different areas
At least 6 hours must be 300-400 level

Total: 24 hours

Additional Information:

No more than 3 hours of ART 491 or 3 hours of ART 498 may be counted towards the minor. A grade of “C” (2.00) or better is required for each course counted toward the minor.
