The College of Arts and Sciences offers a Nonprofit Management and Leadership Minor designed to explain the special legal and financial circumstances under which NPOs operate and their relationship with their communities. The minor explains how NPOs must use principles and practices derived from the private sector to make optimal use of financial and human services, including volunteers. The minor demonstrates the importance of NPOs in creating and sustaining inclusive, productive, and democratic civil society.
