Computer Requirement:


To satisfy the computer requirement for the B.A. degree in Physical Education and Health (K-12) a student must successfully complete EDN 303 .

Oral Communication Requirement:


To satisfy the oral communication requirement for the B.A. degree in Physical Education and Health (K-12) a student must successfully complete PED 235 .

Applied Learning Requirement:


To satisfy the applied learning requirement for the B.A. degree in Physical Education and Health (K-12) a student must successfully complete EDN 409 .

Requirements for a Major in Physical Education and Health (K-12) for the B.A. Degree:


Additional Information for Teacher Licensure:


Students are required to take 18 hours in an academic concentration area. Academic concentrations may be selected from the following disciplines: anthropology, art, behavioral studies, biology, chemistry, community health, English, environmental studies, fine arts, French, geography, geology, history, literature studies, marine biology, mathematics, music, philosophy and religion, political science, psychology, science and humanities, social studies, sociology, Spanish and theatre. Physical Education majors are encouraged to complete the community health concentration.
