Applied Learning Requirement:
To satisfy the applied learning requirement for the B.A. and B.S. degree in Chemistry a student must successfully complete at least one hour of CHM 491 , CHM 495 , CHM 498 , or CHM 499 .
Additional Information:
An overall grade point average of “C” (2.00) is required in all chemistry courses counted toward the major.
Students working for the B.S. degree should arrange their work so as to take CHM 320 and CHM 321 in the junior year.
(**If CHM 491 or CHM 499 is used, the student must take a total of 3 credit hours in CHM 491 and may count only 3 of the 6 credit hours taken as CHM 499 for credit toward the major. A comprehensive written report and an oral presentation are required.)
