HST 581 - Topics in African History

Course Description: Intensive study of a selected theme in African history. Examples of topics: slavery, the slave trade and its abolition, pre–colonial Africa, colonial and post–colonial Africa, oral history in Africa. May be repeated under a different subtitle.
